About the BIPOC Creative Writing Group
The BIPOC Creative Writing Group is a welcoming and intentional space for people of colour to write, connect, and create together. It is a place to explore stories and poems we may not feel safe or comfortable writing elsewhere. A space where we can put down the responsibility of being on guard and write from a place of honesty, care, and community.
This group exists so BIPOC writers can shape how we are represented, share lived experiences, and feel less alone in the creative process. While we gather as a collective, we also honour the distinct identities held within the term BIPOC.
